Milcotec’s team of engineers

The engineer team is an important part of Milcotec’s business. The team is composed of workers with many years’ wide-ranging experience in the technical maintenance of machinery and milking robots, IT, communications etc. This expertise comes in very handy when the engineers go out to farms and need to locate a fault, for example, or get systems communicating properly.

Milcotec has four engineers in all.

Our engineers travel all over the country repairing and installing milking robots and equipment. One day they might be on the island of Bornholm, the next they might be on a farm in North Jutland, or even in Germany. Our engineers work closely with our workshop, which carries out repairs and maintains robots, spare parts etc.

We have a 24/7 duty roster all year round.

Milcotec’s engineers have a broad-ranging knowledge of Lely, Urban and Dairymaster, and they continually attend courses at the suppliers, so they are always up to date on the products and new technologies.

Martin Staak is the engineers’ team leader, responsible for day-to-day management and assigning jobs within the team. Martin is a trained Agricultural Machinery Mechanic and IT Engineer. He has worked at Milcotec for 5 years, having come to us from Lely in Germany.

Milcotec also sells chemical products and cleaning agents; if you are encountering challenges in this area, you can always ask the engineers for advice.
