The welfare of the individual animal is a crucial aspect of an effective calf rearing program. Urban Alma Pro helps you with this on all levels. Our reliable technology takes on the regular task of feeding your calves. That way, each animal gets exactly the amount of milk it is entitled to. This promotes healthy growth - also for the rest of the group. In addition, the system allows you and your team to have individual control over each animal. When did a calf last drink? What is its health status? What is the temperature of the milk? All this information is available at any time, both on the stationary display and on a mobile device on the go. Carrying and rinsing buckets, mixing portions - with our innovative solution for modern and efficient calf rearing, none of this is necessary.

Automated feeding for rearing calves based on needs

The Urban Alma Pro knows the individual daily requirements of your calves: Each calf gets exactly the amount of milk it needs.

You can see exactly how many times the calf has been at the machine and how much it has picked up. All relevant data is saved and can be accessed at any time. The exact amount of remaining milk is also measured if a calf has not drunk everything.

If a calf does not drink or does not drink enough, the Urban Alma Pro triggers an alarm, so you can react quickly.

• Whole milk feeding (*optional) The feeder can even be used to feed animals whole milk or a mix of whole milk and milk powder without any problems. The proportion of whole milk can be adjusted within a range between 0% to 100%. The Urban MilkShuttle can be used to supply automatic feeders with whole milk
